Often described as "too loose" for waves above shoulder high. Our original Wrecking Ball model is a high performance shortboard meant to be ridden in knee high to shoulder high waves when you are looking for maximum shreddability. A fuller outline, almost a fish style outline but with a shortboard style build. This board is shorter, wider and curvier than your typical shortboard, has lots of volume and rips in small waves.
This shape features a moderate single concave to pronounced Vee that starts before the back fin and runs out the tail. This combination allows for extreme speed and drive, looseness and a skate-y feeling through turns, while still feeling incredibly responsive off of the back foot. Ride this board about 2 - 4 inches shorter than your normal performance short board. This board works well as a quad fin or thruster so a 5 fin set up is recommended.
