the surfboard is supported TILTED DOWN with the deck facing on a downward 45 degree angle, to suit an elevated installation. This rack is super effective for fully displaying either the deck or the base of the board [depending on your preference] on a downward angle for full appreciation of the template of the board and graphics, especially when the board is installed at above head height!
