8'8" Arenal Anomaly - Surfboard Details

Michael Arenal's Anomaly is the bridge that connects the gaps between popular sized midlengths and longboards. It's perfect for catching waves with the glide of a longboard, but maneuvering with the ability of a midlength. It features a wide point forward outline with a slightly pulled in nose and pulled in pin tail. The rails are turned down near 70/30, with an extreme hard edge down in the back third of the board. This creates speed and grip out of turns. The bottom consists of a flat entry that flows into a mellow spiral vee that exits flat out the tail, allowing for deep bottom turns, high line trims, and sweeping cutbacks. The rocker profile is subtle yet continuous. The Anomaly excels in small surf as well as bigger, open faced waves.
